Battery Temperature Test Chamber Designed for ATL

In daily use, batteries are subjected to various temperature conditions, such as high temperatures, low temperatures, and rapid temperature changes. To ensure the reliability of batteries under extreme or complex temperature conditions and to guarantee the safety of battery use, battery temperature testing is an essential part of the production process. Recently, KOMEG provided a batch of explosion-proof test chambers to our customer ATL for battery temperature cycle testing.

What are the characteristics of this batch of battery temperature test chambers?

Ensure Test Safety

Insulation material: Insulation material is used for both the inner chamber and sample shelves to prevent potential safety hazards caused by contact with the battery.

Explosion-proof design: In the event of an explosion, the explosion-proof chain prevents the door from popping out, the stainless steel protective net of the explosion-proof window prevents glass from splashing, and the explosion-proof pressure relief port quickly removes the internal pressure. Three basic explosion-proof devices protect the machine from damage and the safety of the testers.

More safety devices: Smoke alarm, status light, alarm light, over-temperature protection device, current and voltage protection device, monitor and discover safety issues during the test process to ensure test safety.

Protective cover: The touch screen is equipped with a transparent protective cover to prevent accidental touch.

Wide Temperature Range

This batch includes 10 battery test chambers, all designed for temperature testing. The temperature range is from -40℃ to +150℃, allowing for multiple temperature point tests and temperature cycle tests.

Small Footprint

The design features a vertical structure with two upper and lower test areas, each equipped with its own controller. The two test chambers can be independently controlled to perform different tests. This design not only meets the customer’s testing needs but also saves space and improves test efficiency.
